"Life In Descents" is an extended play formed as an anthology of sorts and presented as an encyclopedia of Black life in America. The extended play chronicles the lives of several men, such as the life of a captive on a ship sailing to a foreign land, to an enslaved man leading a revolt on a southern plantation. Additionally, several stories are told about the formation, disruption, and suffering of Black male survival over the last few centuries up until present day. This project is an exploration in the parallels of descent regarding Black existence and how it structurally changes as a result through space, time, and the ever changing marginalizing systemic functions of white power structures.
